I Choose ...

To live by choice, not by chance.
To be motivated, not manipulated.
To be useful, not used.
To make changes, not excuses.
To excel, not compete.

I choose self-esteem, not self-pity.
I choose to listen to my inner voice,
not to random opinions of others.

All Roads Lead To Home

Only when you become a parent, you started to get worried about mortality.
My greatest fear is that I won't be able to be by your side one day,
to watch you grow, or give my shoulders to you when you need a cry.

This world sometimes is a bit complicated,
and gaining good spiritual well being is very crucial.
Especially our generations is living in this highly consumerism world.

That's why I set up this little blog for you,
just things (from what I learned in my life) I wish to pass on to you.
Things that I wish I would be told when I was growing up.

And I just wanted to say...no matter what..

Wherever you are, what ever you are doing,
you are always my daughter, and my home is your home.

When you feel weary, exhausted, or just needed a smile and warmth from somebody,
you can always come home where I will always have a place for you.

Even when you don't live at home anymore, where you have your own life, your own family,
that little place for you will always be there.

So, feel brave to deal with whatever being thrown at you in your life outside,
because when you are tired, you can always come back to your forever home for a peace of mind.

My little Erin, you are probably too young to even dream of living an independent life right now,
so my wish for you is to grow happily at your home with mommy and daddy.
Grow up strong, and happy.

This blog, is for you when you grown up,
where you can go to look for answers that you might have questions for.

I hope you will find strength, guidance and love here.
Your self identity is how you see yourself and identify yourself,
don't ever doubt your ability.

With all our love to you, my baby Erin.
